Oracle Warehouse Management Setups - Define Stock Locators

Below are the details of  Define Stock Locators as part of Oracle Warehouse Management Setups

Before define Stock Locators we need to define the structure of Locator.

Press F11 >> Enter Title as “Stock locators” and Ctrl+F11

Press Segments

Define the details for Stock Locators >> Save it >> freeze it and Compile.

Navigation: - Warehouse Manager Responsibility >> Setup >> Warehouse Configuration >> Warehouses >> Stock Locators >> Double Click.

Enter Sub-inventory  Type and Name >> New

Note: - We can do the same process on sub-inventory window also.

Enter Locator Details:-

Select the values like Type as “Receiving” being receiving sub inventory, status as “Active” and Select the Sub inventory name “RCV” because we created RCV only as receiving sub-inventory. If multiple then select from LOV.

In the Capacity tab we can give the Maximum Limit (Units) of the locator and it will display the Current Units also. In this, we can define the Maximum Limit in terms of Units, Weight, and Volume. In the same manner, you can define more receiving Locators in the same sub-inventory or different sub inventories.

Similar manner we will define the Stock Locators for Staging (STG) sub inventory and Storage (STRG1 and STRG2) sub inventories.
