Oracle Warehouse Management Setups -  Define Sub-inventory

Below are the details of  Define Sub-inventory as part of Oracle Warehouse Management Setups 

Navigation: - Warehouse Manager Responsibility >>Setup >> Warehouse Configuration >> Warehouses >> Sub inventories >> Double Click >> Select the Newly created WH organization.





Enter the name of sub-inventory like
1)      Receiving Sub inventory
2)      Storage Sub inventory
3)      Staging Sub-inventory

Below screenshot is for Receiving Sub-inventory, Press Open to enter details




As this is receiving Sub-inventory we have to select Type as “Receiving”






None: Inventory transactions within this sub-inventory do not require locator information.
Prespecified: Inventory transactions within this sub-inventory  require you to enter a valid predefined locator for each item.

Dynamic entry: Inventory transactions within this sub-inventory require you to enter a locator for each item. You may choose a valid predefined locator, or define a locator dynamically at the time of the transaction.
Item level: Inventory transactions use locator control information that you define at the item level.

Then select the Select Location

Defining Staging Sub-inventory  >> Press Open





Enter Storing Sub-inventory Details







Define another Storage sub-inventory  similar what is been define in an earlier step based on business needs.
