Oracle Warehouse Management Setups - Define Resources

Oracle Warehouse Management Setups -  Define Resources

Below are the details of  Define Resources as part of Oracle Warehouse Management Setups

Navigation: - Warehouse Manager Responsibility >> Setup >> Warehouse Configuration >> Resources >> Resources >> Double Click

Note: - As we have selected the Resource Type as “Person” that’s the reason the “Employees” button is enabled and “Equipment” is disabled. If we select Resource Type as “Machine” than “Equipment” button will get enable and the “Employees” button will get disable. View this scenario in screenshots ahead.

Once you define the Resource save the information do define the “Employees” for resources. Select the employees from List of values or define a new employee in HRMS to get selected in the LOV. Similar manner we can define the types of equipment in the same window by selecting resource type as Machine.

Define Equipment type as “Machine” for “Forklift

Note: - Make sure to define types of equipment as Item with Item type as “Equipment” in Item Master form and assign it to Inventory Organization in which you are creating the resources.
