Oracle Warehouse Management Setups -  Define Warehouses

Below are the details of  Define Warehouses as part of Oracle Warehouse Management Setups

Navigation: - Warehouse Manager Responsibility >> Setup >> Warehouse Configuration >> Warehouses >> Define Warehouses >> Double Click.




Press “New”




Enter Name: - XX_NAME Warehouse
Type: - Business Group
Dates:- Start Date.

Now select the Organization Classifications as “Inventory Organization” and select the Enabled checkbox.





Press Others to Select “Accounting Information” as “Vision Operations” for Fields:-
1)      Primary Ledger
2)      Legal Entity
3)      Operation Unit.







Press Others to Select “Inventory Information” or “Organization Parameters





Enter Organization Parameter details or can copy from existing Organization from Tools.





Copy option:-





Once it’s copied than enter the Organization Code and Item Master Organization as “Vision Operations”
Press Others to Select “Receiving Information”





Enter All Mandatory Columns like:-
1)      Receipt Days Early
2)      Receipt Days late
3)      Over Receipt Tolerance
4)      Next Receipt Number (Default to 1)
5)      Enter Accounting Information like
a)      Receiving Inventory Account
b)      Retroactive Price Adjustment Account
c)      Clearing Account
Save it.

Note: - Make sure the location has been assigned the WH org newly created in “Other details” tab under inventory Organization.
